Little Girl Giggles and Boy's Names

Ella woke up this morning, touched her ear, and said "it hurts." No fever, which is good, just needs a little tlc today. We read some books and had a bath so the steam could help her ear. Now she's relaxing in front of the Curious George movie and it just reached her absolute favorite part. I heard her giggling, looked over, and she's cracking up at George and Ted playing peek-a-boo. This gets her every time. I love to see her developing a sense of humor. Is there anything better than a toddler cracking up?

Remember this cute baby? I'm excited to think we'll have another little one soon!

I'm also divided this morning about boy's names. As many of you know, Tim is very difficult when it comes to boy's names...he doesn't seem enthusiastic about any of them. I also think they are 10x more difficult than girl's names. I really wanted to go with Eli and he finally warmed up to it. I still love the name, but now I seem to hear the name everywhere. Maybe that's just because it's on my mind - the same way I notice pregnant ladies everywhere I go now. I'm looking into other names, like Cade (love this name!) and Xavier, but Tim isn't warming up to any of them. I'd love to solidify this baby's name. Any baby name suggestions? I'm pretty picky too, and names are so personal, but it'd be fun to have some ideas.

I think Eli is really cute because it goes with Ella! We too have a way hard time with boys names... don't have any we agree on! I really like Cade! It'd be cute to do Timothy Cade and call him Cade! Good luck. If I think of more, I'll let you know!! :)

I think you should ask Shannon Farmer, since it seems that you like similar names (she already has a Cade and an Eli). I'd give you my name ideas but they're ones I like :^) I like both of your ideas.

I can't believe Shannon has used both of those names! Tim's whole resistance to Eli was that they already had one. :0)

I too have a hard time with boy names. This time is hard because we don't know if it's going to be a boy or a girl.....we have to come up with both. The girl name was easy but the boy name we are still flip flopping. I really love the idea of using family names. To me, they just have so much more meaning. I like the names you picked out Cade Especially! No matter what you decide to name him you'll always hear that name everywhere, so I say...just go with your gut.

I love Eli! It was one of my boy names but Ryan wasn't too keen on it either. You could always name him Elliot and call him Eli for short. Another one of my friends has an Elijah and they call him Eli too. Just a way to incorporate Eli without it having to always be that.
