Mindyfarmer.mymodbe.com

I've been searching for an opportunity to work from home for quite some time. I recently ordered some tops from Modbe and fell in love with their clothing line. The Modbe line includes quality clothing that is modern and fun. They currently have the most adorable swim suits that perfectly combine fashion and coverage. I love clothes and fashion, so I decided to start my own business selling the Modbe clothing line. I'm hoping this will bring some extra income into our home and provide a fun opportunity to use my professional skills and get more involved in the community.

I will be having an open house soon and I'm working on a space to display locally in Jacksonville. If you're interested in what I'm up to, feel free to visit my site at http://www.mindyfarmer.mymodbe.com/!

Me and My Baby

Ella has formed a real attachment to the baby doll Grandma Cathy gave to her lately. She even says, "baby" now.

She loves to feed, cuddle, and pat the baby. We have tons of fun feeding the baby and she always follows removing the bottle from baby's mouth with a satisfied "Mmmm". Boy, is that bottle good!

Trendsetter

Tim put Ella in her chair to eat last night. We went into the kitchen to dish up soup, and this is how we found her when we returned to the table. Ella's always been a trendsetter, so we just left her this way. She seemed perfectly content.
Mom gave Tim this blinking Rudolph nose one year in his stocking and Ella found it amongst his stuff. Usually she likes for me to put it on, but today she wanted to wear it around the house. I also have some great video of Ella walking around with clothes on her head or wrapped around her shoulders. I'll have to post it once it's edited.

Up, Down! Up, Down!

Ella always wants to go outside - even when it's 20 degrees and she's coughing. We've been blessed with some wonderful sunny days this week, so we headed outside. Ella loves to walk up and down the sidewalk and around the block. The other day, she found a place in the sidewalk with a ridge. This wouldn't mean much to an adult, but it was steep for a petite girl. She proceeded to go up and down - eventually even trying it backwards. I started saying "Up", "Down" and she really enjoyed herself. Pretty soon, I'd say "up" and she'd say "down".

One of those moments I just love being a mom!

Ella's a Big Girl

Ella is nearly 18 months - soon she'll get to go to nursery at church! In some ways, she's very independent. She insists on feeding herself most meals. This involves eating using a spoon in one hand and then reaching in the bowl to scoop out more food with her other hand.

Our Little Helper

Ella loves to help around the house, whether it's folding laundry, making dinner, or ensuring that all doors are shut (even if you want them open). Since she's still a bit too young to help much with dinner, I made her a little stove. I saw this idea in my "Parents" magazine and now she can "cook" along with mom using the pots and pans Grandma Cathy sent. She and Tim love to play together when he gets home from work and one evening they cooked together.
